Meetings consist of a public session, where members of the public can attend and request to speak to the Board, and an in-camera session, where the Board discusses issues related to strategic planning, etc. All decisions of the Board are made in the Board’s public meetings.
Commissioners and any public or administrative presenters may attend Board meetings in person or virtually. All Board meetings are live streamed with closed captioning for public viewing, and meeting recordings are posted shortly after the meetings. Along with the live stream, the public may attend the public portion of any Board meeting. Attendance is subject to guidelines set by City Council for public attendance at civic facilities.
