Commissioner Brander Elected Police Commission Chair

Commissioner Darlene Brander was elected as Chair of the Saskatoon Board of Police Commissioners at the Commission meeting on January 21, 2016.

Commissioner Brander, who holds an education degree from the University of Saskatchewan, is Chief Human Resources Officer with Athabasca Catering Limited Partnership. Previous to that, she worked for the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA).

A Band Member of Red Earth Cree Nation, Commissioner Brander serves on several other boards including the Saskatoon Aboriginal Professional Association and the Children's Discovery Museum of Saskatchewan.
