The Saskatoon Board of Police Commissioners announces a Special Board Meeting to be held Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. Please note the location will be the Cultural Room at the Saskatoon Police Service.
The Board of Police Commissioners will review this recommendation from the Saskatoon Police Service: “That an addition of $828,200 in the 2020 Operating Budget and $807,600 in the 2021 Operating Budget in order to resource a Community Mobilization Unit comprised of 8 police officers as outlined in the business case provided by SPS to the Board of Police Commissioners be approved.”
The Saskatoon Board of Police Commissioners, within its responsibility for ensuring the community has access to police services that ensure community safety, will be reviewing the report and considering the above recommendation.
