Saskatoon Police Commission Issues for the Thursday, May 16, 2019 Meeting
The following topics are on the agenda for the Thursday, May 16, 2019 @ 4:00 p.m.
Meeting of the Saskatoon Board of Police Commissioners in Committee Room E at Saskatoon City Hall.
Safe Consumption Site – Response to City Council request that the Board of Police Commissioners review and comment on the proposal for a Safe Consumption Site in Saskatoon.
Evade Police Review – Receipt of 2018 final report from Saskatoon Police Service including comparative statistical data, the review process for Evade Police incidents, and the impact of policy changes directed by the Provincial Police Commission on police pursuits.
Police Service Fee Review – Receipt of Saskatoon Police Service report that recommends service fees remain unchanged from 2018.
Updated Police Commission Governance Policy and Strategic Plan Summary.
Saskatoon Police Commission spokespersons, Chair Darlene Brander or Vice-Chair Carolanne Inglis- McQuay, will be available immediately after the conclusion of the Public Agenda to provide comments or respond to questions from the media.
As well, the two Police Commission spokespersons will make their best efforts to be available to address any media questions on the morning following the Commission Meeting.
